Original Paintings
My oil paintings and drawings are in constant demand; consequently, originals sell quickly, if they are not already pre-sold before completion. If the painting that you are interested in says "Available" in the 'Original' column, there is a good chance that the original is still available for purchase.
Original Oil Paintings, as a rule, are priced between $1,200 (USD) and $3,000 (USD), unframed, depending on the size. Tax (for California residents) and estimated shipping handling and insurance will be added to the price. Paintings are framed per customer request only, for an additional framing charge.
Commissions
To commission a piece, please contact me and well to discuss your needs. I can do commissioned works on paper or traditional canvases and wrapped canvases. Prior to commencing with your drawing or painting, we will meet or speak at least once to discuss materials, colors, subject matter and size.
I like the client to be part of the process; therefore at the half way point of the piece, we will discuss the progress and your end goal. You will either visit the studio, or view the piece via email. I require a non-refundable down payment of 50% in advance of starting your work, with the balance due upon completion. Pricing for commissioned pieces is determined by size and materials. Tax (for California residents) and estimated shipping handling and insurance will be added to the price. Most paintings can be completed with eight weeks of the signed contract.
